Welcome to our journey! We are a dedicated team of adventurers on a mission to raise awareness and funds for diabetes research.

Our journey

We have set an ambitious goal to hike 8,000 miles across 22 states, crossing some of the most stunning and demanding wilderness areas in the United States. Our journey of 8,000 miles will take us through a variety of terrains, from the rugged Pacific Crest Trail to the tranquil Appalachian Trail. Stay tuned as we document our adventures! 🌄🌲 #EpicHike

Type2 diabetic:

57 years old, native of the Willamette Valley in the PNW of Oregon. Single father of 4 kids ages 13-20. 

Wes has spent the last 8 years raising his kids, 5 years in a small town outside of Eugene Oregon after relocating back home from Arizona.

Type1 Diabetic:

 My name is Tyler, and I’m a 19-year-old Type 1 diabetic from Phoenix, Arizona. I was diagnosed at the age of 7, and over the years, I’ve navigated the ups and downs of managing my condition. From manual injections to insulin pens, and now an insulin pump, my journey has been one of adaptation and resilience. When I’m not focused on my health, I enjoy the outdoors

My name is Joseph, I'm 20 years old, also born in Scottsdale Arizona.

I am the night watchman over Wes and Tyler's diabetes management.

I am a lover of cars, nature, and the outdoors including fishing, camping, hiking, rain, snow or shine!
